. . . while I was at Neils, we tested my motors on 12v. As before I think they were too slow. So we tried again with one of Neils many battery drill batteries. 14.5v made it whizz around in fine style so I think over-volting them to 18v should be adequate. 24v may be a bit too much.

Overall dimensions are;
Motors: 76mm diameter by 100mm (3" x 4")
Gearbox: across the diameter, 130mm (5" ish)and 45mm deep.

At twelve volts the speed is . . . too slow in my opinion. With an 11" wheel it does about 5mph with a laden golf trolley. If you use a 6" drive sprocket it will travel at, roughly, 2.5 - 3mph. Too slow, I think.

hi, do you know what the speed of the motors you have is at 12v as i like the look of the motors in the ebay shop and was wondering about the speed and gear ratios
